'The Voice': First Ever Real Time Voting and Results of Top 12 on November 7

Apart from the first ever appearance of Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus on the show, November 7 will be another first for the show's history. The Voice Season 11 will have live voting and results! From 8-10 PM, the current top 20 artists will all perform in one night. Fans will be able to advance two artists per team of 5 and results will be revealed on the same night.

After the voting, The Voice Season 11 coaches Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton will then choose one artist to save while the others will bid their farewell. The Top 12 will then move up to the final phase of the competition which will begin on Monday, November 14.

Viewers can cast up to 10 votes per contestant per team during the voting period via The Voice Season 11 app or through the show's official Twitter handle @NBCTheVoice.

During The Voice Season 11 live show, voting fans from the Central and Eastern time zones can watch and vote simultaneously while viewers from Mountain and West time zones with the Eastern and Central time zones can cast their votes via the app or Twitter upon announcement which artists are eligible.

There will also be The Voice Season 11 behind the scenes through the four Facebook live segments to be hosted by NBC's Better Late Than Never star Jeff Dye. After voting ends and results are revealed, the remaining artists will sit down with Jeff Dye for some talk, right after they go off the stage.

The Voice Season 11 currently ranks as the television's number 1 alternative series for adults aged 18-49. The show remained consistent with its high ratings for the past four seasons. It has an average of 3.5 rating for the same age range and 12.9 million viewers overall according to the latest Nielsen Media Research results. One of the perceived reasons is the audience participation through voting. The Voice has had many changes since season 1 and has continued to thrive. It was created by John de Mol who is also a current executive producer with Jay Bienstock, Chad Hines, Audrey Morrisey and Lee Metzger.
