Halloween has become different because aside from trick or treating, kids and "Pokemon Go" players around the world have enjoyed collecting candies. Since many players who have returned playing the augmented reality mobile game, "Pokemon Go" revenue has soared high to about 133 percent.

Since "Pokemon Go" has gained commercial success worldwide and brought in the biggest revenue to its developer Niantic, expect more Halloween-like events, according to Forbes. Before the augmented reality mobile game reached the highest revenue, it fell a few places in recent weeks to the likes of "Clash Royale," "Game of War," and others. Apparently, the Halloween event is very effective as many players went back to playing "Pokemon Go."

The revenue of "Pokemon Go"increased for about 133 percent or 2.3 times more during the five-day event, according to analytics firm Sensor Tower. Its approximate earning is $23.3 million worldwide (between Oct. 25 to 29). During Oct. 18 to 22, the game earned approximately $10 million.

During Halloween events, "Pokemon Go" players got in-game bonuses like double candy and quarter distance for buddies. These bonuses attracted many players and returned playing last week. According to the source, if the bonuses why players went back, they should keep it or make an event like this in the future. Aside from that, players encountered such "spooky" pokemons such as Haunter, Gengar, Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, and Zubat.

Since the Halloween event is successful, there is a possibility that Niantic will hold events for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, Geek predicted. Although it sounds good that the tech company will hold events during holidays, some players who live in cold climates may find difficulty to go out just to catch pokemons. But for those who live in warmer climates, this is not an issue.

There is also a prospect that has been raised that Niantic should release legendary or other new pokemons in-game in the future events. As of now, players should keep on waiting for another announcement.
