‘Forza Horizon 3’ Latest News & Update: Expansion Pack Pricing; Setting Takes Place in Australian Ice & Snow

Microsoft released the first expansion teaser for racing title "Forza Horizon 3" which coincides with the title reaching 5 million players mark across Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. This much-anticipated expansion is the first of two updates that will span until next year.

"Forza Horizon 3" expansion trailer teased a hostile racing condition in ice and snow. This tricky condition fits the winter season so expect at-home experience though sitting in a couch for extended hours of gameplay. Another twist in the upcoming update is the Australian stetting, a place which doesn't snow that much. At any rate, topography and weather condition is a little detail to overlook in this stunner.

According to Game Spot, there is no title yet nor release schedule for this "Forza Horizon 3" expansion. Thought it is safe to presume that there will be cars to be added, details about additional contents are still scarce. What we know so far is the cost of this expansion that will be within the tune of $35 for season pass. There is also an ongoing promo where Ultimate Edition owners can purchase the expansion for $10 less.

Meanwhile, Xbox Wire reported that Alpinestars car pack is already available for standalone purchase of $7. Those who will opt for this content can get seven cool cars that include two of the most requested racer in "Forza Horizon 3." 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7 and 1998 Nissan Silvia K are going to lead the array of this cool pack. There are street-legal racers too, like the Ford Falcon XR GT and Dodge Viper ACR.

There are modern and oldies as well and "Forza Horizon 3" made a good compromise so we will start with the classic first. Think of Talbot Lotus Sunbeam, a 150 horsepower steed from the late 1970's that was brainchild of Chrysler collaboration with a British car assembly line. This year's beaut, 2016 BMW M4 GTS is ready to take on the road too. Then came the future with 2017 Acura NXS, a hybrid supercar that packs 650 HP in its 9-gear 3.5-liter V6 engine.
