CMA Awards: Garth Brooks Steals A Kiss From Trisha Underwood, County’s Power Couple Dazzle Awards Night.

An hour into the 2016 Country Music Awards (CMA), fans get treated to a trip down memory lane coming from one of country music's power couples Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks. CMA Awards show co-host Brad Presley jokingly referred to as Mr. and Ms. Yearwood.

Being one of country music's power tandem, both Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood had no problem putting on a show. As the husband and wife duo together with the fans took Nashville's Bidgestone Arena for a trip down memory lane, as they go through some of country music's classic songs and hits.

They opened the CMA awards with the 1967 classic " Jackson" (which was made famous by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood together with Johnny Cash and June Carter), followed up by other classic hits like "Do Not Make My Brown Eyes Blue" (by Crystal Gale), "Louisiana woman Mississippi Man"( by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty), "Rose Garden"( by Lynn Anderson), Keith Whitney's (" Don't Close Your Eyes") and lastly, Golden Ring ( by George Jones and Tammy Wayette).

The CMA awards was filled with nostalgia as husband and wife Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood manages to compile a lot of classic country music history in their five minute medley performance. The country music duo not only manages to pull it off, but it almost looked too easy.

The couple dazzle the crown during the CMA awards. The couple has been married for 11 years since 2005. They have grown into country music's most famous and well-received couples. Still remaining strong to this day, both have also teamed up for several tours and musical collaborations that have given joy to country music fans all over the world. The couple has also been inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville last year. They are set to release a Christmas Duets album later this year.
