Fans of the one of the longest running sci-fi series, Doctor Who, will finally get a preview of this year's Christmas Special. According to some Doctor Who spoilers, a proper teaser for the 2016 Christmas episode will be airing during the Children in Need fundraising extravaganza.

True to the mission of Doctor Who in spreading kindness and love, the special preview will give not only the anticipated Doctor Who spoilers but also some goodness and charity.

Steven Moffat revealed that the super hero- themed episode, "The Return of Doctor Mysterio", will be airing on Friday night, November 18. The writer mentioned that ha has always love super heroes and that is why the Christmas, the Doctor Who world will be entering that realm. The longtime writer and showrunner of the show also revealed that his favorite hero is Clark Kent and now Superman.

Ralf Little who is appearing in the 10th series of the show teased some of the Doctor Who fans by saying that his entire experience was very cool and that Peter Capaldi is indeed a great man. They've meet each other in various occasions but he stopped revealing more information after he realized that he was probably revealing too much.

Actor and comedian, Matt Lucas, also gave out some Doctor Who spoilers. He is returning to the show to play Nardole and already fans have caught some details that the team and Steven Moffat have yet to confirm.

Lucas apparently tweeted out a cryptic message to writer Jamie Mathieson last week, saying how much he loved his script. With this latest Doctor Who spoiler, it isn't difficult to conclude that Mathieson is back on the team for series 10.

Mathieson did not respond to his tweet but the news wasn't that surprising. In previous episodes of Doctor Who, he was already working with the team and penned some of the episodes.

In earlier Doctor Who spoilers, Moffat revealed that for his last series as the series showrunner, Lucas and Capaldi will be joined by Pearl Mackie and Michelle Gomez. They will be playing the role of Bill, the latest companion of the Doctor, and Missy, the current fan favorite, respectively.
