"New Girl" season 6 might have a not so new girl in the next episodes, with Megan Fox returning to the series to reprise her role as Reagan. Jess, on the other hand, is very busy as she tries to win the approval of the Parents' Council to take her closer to her goal, to be a principal.

Megan Fox first appeared in the "New Girl" TV series to be a temporary replacement for Zooey Deschanel while the latter is in maternity leave. The showrunners noticed the good ratings the series got during Megan Fox's appearance as Reagan, which is perhaps one of the reasons why the "Transformers" beauty is scheduled to reprise her role in "New Girl" season 6.
The plot of "New Girl" season 6 will surely get more interesting and complicated one Reagan gets on board. The first few seasons of "New Girl" season 6 showed the characters clearly busy with their own lives. Jess is dead-set on landing the job as the principal. Cece and Schmidt are wrapped up in wedding fever, while Nick is perplexed on what wedding gift to give the former.
Winston, on the other hand, is apparently on to something mysterious, as he is preparing for an undercover mission that is yet to unfold. The seemingly normal lives of the main characters of "New Girl" season 6 begin to get more interesting when the idea of Reagan moving back in springs up.

Because Cece and Schimdt have decided to live on their own, the apartment is left with a room to fill. Nick nonchalantly suggests that they invite Reagan in, unknowing that his suggestion struck a chord with Jess. Nick and Jess have had an on-off relationship in previous episodes, and their relationship will certainly be more complicated with Reagan's return.
