Kate Middleton Attends Movie Premiere: Is She Avoiding Her Royal Responsibilities?

Everyone can't seem to stop talking about the presence of Kate Middleton during the premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob in London Thursday night. Sure thing that the Duchess of Cambridge caught the eyes of everyone as she arrived looking extremely stunning and glamorous at the Curzon Cinema in Mayfair. Did it also get the attention of Queen Elizabeth? Is Kate Middleton running away again from her royal responsibilities?

In previous reports, Kate Middleton and the British Monarch aren't exactly on their best terms. The Queen wasn't very happy with the Duchess turning down Royal functions. Also, the speculations that Kate Middleton is carrying her third child has reportedly created issues between her and the grandmother of her husband. The Queen thinks that she'll be using her pregnancy to avoid her duties.

The Duchess of Cambridge was a picture of glam and elegance as she walked the red carpet. On a report cited on EOnline, Kate Middleton wore a designer brand Self Portray white maxi dress amounting to  £320. The dress had a daring slit and was embellished with a dainty floral brooch.

What exactly is the reason why Kate Middleton attended the event? As per DailyMail, the Duchess was on the said event to express her support to a charity close to  her heart, Action On Addiction. The institution aims to help and to bring hope those with addiction to alcohol and drugs. The Duchess met the stars of the film, Bob the street cat and its owner Jim Bowen who is the film's inspiration.

Recovery Street Film Festival featured three inspiring films that Kate Middleton watched. The said films were created by those who have struggled with alcohol and drugs issues. The Duchess of Cambridge acknowledged and thanked those involved in the film who bravely showed their own personal journeys of addiction, recovery and redemption.
