Sony Devs Detail Dualshock 4 For The PlayStation 4

Not content to let Microsoft have all the attention with its announcement that the next Xbox will be revealed in May, Sony today dropped a video featuring Sony developers talking about how much they love the Sony Dualshock 4 for the upcoming PS4.

There's not a lot new here, but it is nice to see developers trying to think of new ways to interact with games. Things like the controller's light bar which will track your movement and the touch pad are gone over. The Share button, which is supposed to let you share your best/worst gaming moments, gets attention and funny graphics but not much detail.

There's also a weird moment when Nicolas Doucet, producer at Sony Computer Entertainement, mimics flicking something using the PS4 which is reminiscent of the flicking motion used in Takamaru's Ninja Castle: Throwing Stars Showdown. Ninja Castle, of course, is a Wii U game that received a lot of attention in the run up to the console's release.

Watch the devs talk up the controller below.
