"Quantico" Season 2 continues on its high-stakes terrorist dealings, and with only Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) and friends to try and put a stopper before it cascades into a global catastrophe. However, one cast member is noticeably absent from all the goings-on: Caleb Haas (Graham Rogers).
Fans of "Quantico" would recall that Caleb had been Shelby Wyatt's (Johanna Brady) significant other in Season 1, before the latter dumped him and began dating his father instead. Shelby had explained his absence during "Quantico" Season 2 premiere, saying he was currently in Berkeley Law School to cope with the events from Season 1.
Where's Caleb, really?
That thin explanation, however, did not stop fans from speculating what really is happening with Caleb in "Quantico" Season 2. The top speculation, of course, involves Caleb's controversial mother, Claire Haas (Marcia Cross), who may or may not be the vice president of the United States.
In "Quantico" Season 1, Claire Haas was running for vice president, despite Caleb's father being embroiled in a scandalous affairwas revealed to have been privy to Liam O' Connor's terrorist plots. If, later in "Quantico" Season 2, the president turns out to be a victim to the ongoing terror crisis, then Claire Haas might reappear again, and ScreenerTV speculated that Caleb is sure to follow.
If ever he does come back, however, he doesn't seem to have any future with Shelby, who's now falling deeper and deeper for CIA recruit Leon Velez (Aaron Diaz) in "Quantico" Season 2. Will the two ever resolve their tensions together?
What's currently happening in 'Quantico' Season 2
Currently, Alex Parrish is still trapped within the terrorist headquarters, while Miranda Shaw (Aunjanue Ellis) is still largely believed to be a terrorist, especially after her ruse with Eric Boyer and Will Olsen (Jay Armstrong Johnson). Will they be able to solve the crisis in time before the President gets in trouble? "Quantico" Season 2 airs every Tuesday on ABC.
