'Dishonored 2' Release Date, News & Updates: Minimum, Recommended PC Requirements Revealed; Safety Countermeasures A Go?
"Dishonored 2" is only days away from actually being launched and because of all the inevitable hype, Bethesda has taken the time to release what is cordially needed for the game. The same goes for what else the Arkane Studios game is to undergo.
As some may know the history behind the makings of "Dishonored 2," the game has been talked of for an unimaginably long time since the success of the first title. Now that the title is less than a week away from the time of this writing, there is certainly a lot of preparation to do-especially for the PC users.
According to the official Bethesda site, "Dishonored 2" requires at least Windows 7, 8 or 10, Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 or better than such. Also, 8GB worth of RAM is advised, with a free HDD space of 60GB at least, along with either NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB or Radeon HD 7970; better versions would also be suggested. The recommended requirements, however, are a different series altogether.
For "Dishonored 2," Windows 10 is certainly the best option to go for, with an Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-8350 and beyond. For such, 16GB RAM is best, with 60GB free HDD space as well. The cards can be either NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB and better will also be recommended. It is worth noting for the players that downloading of additional files is a must to run the game since it is a single disc and in the same manner requires Steam activation.
For those a little more concerned about the "Dishonored 2" discrepancies, fear not, as reports talk of the said game being protected by the Denuvo DRM on PC. This will ensure that pirated copies of the game will be prevented as it launches.
"Dishonored 2" is slated for launch on November 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. Keep posted for further news and updates here at GamenGuide.
