‘Dragonball Xenoverse 2’ News & Update: Steam Players Complain On Bugs, Technical Difficulties With 'Dragonball' Sequel Game

"Dragonball Xenoverse 2" was recently released by Bandai Namco last October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and fans are enjoying it except for some issues. PC players have been reporting bugs and technical difficulties in the game since it was released.

"Dragonball Xenoverse 2" is a sequel of "Dragonball Xenoverse," which was developed by Japan-based developer Dimps. The premise of the game is about Time Patrollers who keep the Toki Toki City in peace by preventing time lapses disaster. The game was released on different platforms, but the Steam community has some complaints in the game.

On the Steam Community website, the discussion thread for "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" has listed the problems that the players are experiencing. One of the Steam users, named Doobles, compiled the bugs in one thread so the developers can easily track the complaints of players.

Steam player Oravehor said that there are some Asian gamers having difficulty in Dub options of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2." He noted that some Asian players can't set the Japanese dub to English to better understand the conversation in the game.

Moreover, other players of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" like Praetor and X-oR Belgium have noticed some freezing and lags which affected their gameplay. Praetor said that the character he plays stutters whenever he's "boosting forward while flying" and it does the same while his character is just running forward.

It seems that freezing and lag issues of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" has nothing to do with the PC since it also happens to player named Doomguy who has good computer specs and latest Nvidia drivers. He noticed that every 60 seconds, "the GPU usage drops to zero" and the frame rate drops from 144 to zero which happens whenever he plays online.  Also, other players who set the FPS game setting under variable option causes the game to crash every 15 minutes.

Steam players of "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" also complains about autosave options not working on Level 3. Also, custom players get deleted after a period of time, story progression, unlocked characters and PQ completion get deleted after creating a new character and a lot of significant bugs.

Despite the bugs and technical difficulties experienced by steam players, "Dragonball Xenoverse 2" is still one of the best Dragonball game series. The recently reported patch of the game has promised that it will make some improvements and fix the loading issue. However, with the other bug complaints, Dimps need to release another patch that will fix all the issues soon.
