HTC 11 is one of the most anticipated tech releases in 2017, alongside Apple's upcoming iPhone 8 and Samsung's flagship the Galaxy S8. Its predecessor, the HTC 10, was widely received by the tech community because of its top-of-the-line specs under the hood. Now new reports have emerged suggesting that HTC 11 will be better than the previous iteration with advanced specs and features.

According to reports, HTC 11 will have an all-metal chassis and a fairly interesting design with its chamfered edges. The iteration is said to have a classier overall design compared to its predecessor; however, industry observers are saying that the device looks pretty similar to the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S7. Nonetheless, it has its unique qualities that will make the device a worthy competitor against the mighty iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8.

HTC 11 will carry a 5.5-inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution AMOLED technology, which is quite popular with Samsung high-end devices. The new smartphone is definitely an upgrade from the 5.2-inch screen with a 2,560 x 1,440 display resolution of HTC 10. The handset will also run on a Snapdragon 830 processor from Qualcomm paired with a whopping 8 GB of RAM. The current iteration runs on a Snapdragon 820 chipset from Qualcomm and 4 GB of RAM.

The new HTC 11 is expected to arrive in multiple variations - 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB storage capacities. The high end model will certainly have the 128 GB onboard storage, which is an impressive addition from its predecessor.

Meanwhile, HTC claims that HTC 10 had the best camera features when it came out in the market and was awarded an 88 DxOMark score for camera quality. Now fans expect the new iteration to sport an even advanced camera technology. HTC 11 is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the development and release of HTC 11.
