'Outlander' Season 3 Brings More Intimate Scenes?
"Outlander" Season 3 was rumored to be showing more intimate scenes as the previous two seasons pointedly focused on the political arc of the story. GameNGuide earlier reported that the reunion of star-crossed lovers Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will bring in steamier scenes. However, it hasn't been revealed on what episode the highly-anticipated reunion will take place, which should give fans something to look forward to on each episode.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Irish actress Caitriona Balfe admitted as much regarding the sex scenes in "Outlander" Season 3. She recognized there was a lack of intimacy in the previous seasons, with the story arc focusing more on politics. However, the next two books of Diana Gabaldon - which the next two seasons will be based on - will be a lot lighter and will feature more intimate scenes among the characters.

While Claire and Jamie will mostly be apart in "Outlander" Season 3, Caitriona Balfe promised that the two characters will be more intimate than the previous seasons. "There will be some other sex going on," Balfe explained. "I think to really let the reunion and everything that's going to happen once Jamie and Claire see each other."

"Outlander" Season 3 seemed to be on a roll as two more characters get cast. Variety reports that Hannah James and Tanya Reynolds will play the Dunsany sisters. James will portray Geneva, who is a beautiful, headstrong woman. She is described as spoiled and demanding, accustomed to getting what she wants.
Reynolds, on the other hand, will play the role of Isobel, the younger of the two sisters, who is more likable and compassionate. Compared to her older sister, she is described to more ordinary. "Outlander" Season 3 will wrap up production on May, so the series is expected to air towards the last quarter of next year.
