There has been tons of "Games of Thrones" fan theories created in the web and one particular theory that keeps coming back is with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Deanerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), which some fans strongly believe that they are the Azor Ahai. The Azor Ahai is one of the most important characters in "Game of Thrones" lore and is the one who defeated the White Walkers in previous time.
Jon Snow The Azor Ahai?
According to a report, many believe that Jon Snow is the Prince that was promised or Azor Ahai and will possibly defeat the white walkers in "Game of Thrones" season 7. Melisandre (Carice van Houten) also claims that Jon Snow is the reincarnation of Azor Ahai when the Red Witch brought him back to life.
However, there are also several fans who don't support this theory as the previous "Game of Thrones" season suggest Melisandre has been wrong about the character's predicaments when Melisandre stated Stannis Baratheon was the Azor Ahai. It is possible that Melisandre's predicament about Jon Snow is another error in the character's long line of misfortunes.
Deanerys Targaryen The Azor Ahai?
There are also claims that Deanerys Targaryen could be the Azor Ahai with the belief that Dany is the only surviving Targaryen in "Game of Thrones." Maester Aemon believed that the Prince that was promise is not necessarily referred to a male and can be also applied to a female, with Deanerys.
However, the Azor Ahai was describe to be a skilled swordsman and was the one who forge the sword, Lightbringer by sacrificing his wife. With that said, it is highly unlikely that Deanerys Targaryen is the said Azor Ahai with the fact the character has never swung a sword before in "Game of Thrones" previous seasons.
