The "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date is just days away. Finally, the part that is both a source of excitement and dread for fans is here, made more real by the recently-released photos for the sixth season. But one thing is missing, Dylan O'Brien does not have an individual photo.
MTV released the final "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast photos just days before the final season launches. In the group photo, the gang is complete, there is Mason (Khylin Rhambo), Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), Lydia (Holland Roden), Scott (Tyler Posey), Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Malia (Shelley Hennig), as reported by ET Online.
Of course the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast members also have their individual photos. Tyler Posey looks like an alpha as ever, there is one for Sprayberry, Holland and Malia as well. What is missing though is the individual photo for Dylan O'Brian, although there is a single photo for Cody Christian instead.
Speculations say that it is a marketing ploy by the studio for the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date. By now, almost everyone knows something about the plot - that Dylan O'Brien's character Stiles will be kidnapped by the main villains of the season, the evil Ghost Riders.
As such the character portrayed by Dylan O'Brien will be absent for some time when "Teen Wolf" Season 6 air date arrives. In fact, it would be as if he had never existed because all his friends' memories of him will be erased as well. Yes, it was revealed that even photos with him in it will be removed.
Does this explain why the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast photo do not contain an individual photo for Dylan O'Brien? That seems to be the case. Or the studio just forgot about it, a case of real life mimicking the small screen.
