According to Gamenguide, the hype for "Marco Polo" Season 3 has been at all time high even without Netflix confirming that a new season will be released. As of now, there has been a number of speculations about what could happen in "Marco Polo" Season 3 being discussed among fans.

One speculation that is circulating is the coming of a villain. In a recent report by Parent Herald, John Fusco, creator of "Marco Polo" Season 3, hinted that Kublai Khan and Marco Polo, portrayed by Benedict Wong and Lorenzo Richelmy, respectively, will be going against the new villain named Prester John.

The coming of Prester John will up the game in "Marco Polo" Season 3 as it is expected to top the victory that is "Marco Polo" Season 2. The new villain Prester John is described to be a legend. He is believed to have own a kingdom and is a kind of mythical Indiana Jones of the Crusaders.

Additionally, reports suggest that "Marco Polo" Season 3 will also feature the unfinished business of the death of Kokachin. Kokachin was gone when the second season of "Marco Polo" ended with "The Fellowship." Interestingly, the death of Kokachin was due to him committing suicide because of the madness caused by Empress Chabi.

"Marco Polo" Season 3 is expected to unfold a lot of mystery and the fans could not be more thrilled. Although no confirmation from Netflix was made, it is anticipated that "Marco Polo" Season 3 will be released in the winter season of next year.
