Dana White cleared the air on 29-year old Ronda Rousey's face-off with the women's Bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes in the recent Staredown on UFC 207. It was a staredown, they were not supposed to be interviewed. It was not an expression of disapproval on Ronda's part.

"My production guys screwed that thing up which created mixed reactions from the spectators. They were not supposed to do an interview. The fighters were expected to go out there, square off, and they were supposed to walk away," said White to MMA Fighting.
The incident made Ronda look bad once again, like she just stormed off. It was clearly a weigh-in gaffe, nothing more. The much-awaited comeback of the former UFC superstar was tainted by this. However, this is somewhat expected from Ronda Rousey, who pretty much often makes a statement of her being a tough cookie in and out of the octagon.

Rousey's stats (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC), who hasn't fought since a November 2015 after a shocking title loss to Holly Holm during UFC 193 in Australia. Ronda Rousey's first ever loss and was a very devastating one as Holy Holms brutal head kick knockout happened and the fight was called to a stop by referee Dean Herb. Now she meets Nunes (13-4 MMA, 6-1 UFC) in UFC 207's pay-per-view headliner, in the most highly anticipated comeback in UFC history on December 30 at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena.
UFC fans are highly expecting the former champ to close the distance with Nunes in this title fight as she was away for more than a year. White said in Rolling Stone, "Ronda had a bad loss, obviously, and lost her title, but she's still Ronda Rousey at the end of the day."
