'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Updates: ScriptsAre Done, Possible Release Still Unofficial

Animated hit comedy "Rick and Morty" is definitely coming back to the screen. The only question is the exact date of the premiere. Series creators and writers have more than once confirmed the return of this interesting heroes and it remains to set the initial date which can be around Christmas.

Although one of the characters, Mr. Poopybutthoole, said that the series will not return at least for a year and a half, according to reports from Mobile N Apps. One of the creators mentioned that end of 2016 is a possible release date. Series writers Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener have stated that the scripts for "Rick and Morty" season 3 are done and there just a few questions to be solved before release.

Possibly one of them is the animation process used in the creation known as retroscripting that is based on a lot improvisations of the voice actor. This process can cause the delay because it is not easy to adapt the animation to improvisations. Viewers may remember that Rick surrendered himself to the authorities at the end of the previous season, fans be calmed as reports say he will be ok. It also hinted that the series will not turn around previous seasons cliffhangers.

Mobi Picker reports that the script for the new season of "Rick and Morty" is written some time ago and the series might air before the end of this year, confirmed series writers Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener. Rumor has it that the creators are ready to treat their fans by airing on Christmas. Some minor changes are made to the plot, viewers can expect guest appearances and therefore creators are hoping that the new season will be a big hit.

Reddit discussion about the new season shows mixed attitudes towards the new release date. It is said to be in December, but there is some disbelief since spectators could reach any information on IMDB.
