Xbox One Is Almost Here: How, When And Where To Pre-Order

Though neither a price nor release date have been announced for Microsoft's recently unveiled Xbox One console, Engadget mentioned a few places hyped gamers could get notifications on pre-order availability.

Microsoft's online store for a short time (now ended) was giving out $10 store credits for those who wanted notifications on the availability of the console.

Those looking for notifications for the console and nine of its launch titles (including potential box renderings) can visit Amazon

Members of GameStop's Power Up Rewards can be the first to know about trade and pre-order details.

UK retailer Zavvi is taking Xbox One console preorders at £399.99 and launch titles at £49.99 along with estimating a Nov. 30 release date. The retailer also is also taking preorders for Sony's Playstation 4 at the same price at the Xbox One. That £399.99 price tag translate to around $600 in U.S. currency.

The original Xbox was launched in the U.S. on Nov. 22 2005 in two bundles, a Core bundle for $299.99 and a 20 GB Premium for $399.99.

Microsoft held an hour long reveal for its Xbox One console on Tuesday at its headquarters in Redmond, Wash. Xbox One will feature a Blu-Ray player, 8-core CPU and a 500GB hard drive. A new Kinect sensor will become standard with each Xbox One.

Though no actual gameplay was shown, developers are already showing support for the system through videos. EA announced next-gen update to its sports properties which will run on the company's new Ignite engine, Microsoft said a new Forza is set for a launch title, Max Payne developer Remedy is preparing a new IP entitled Quantum Break and Infinity Ward closed the presentation through a new trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
