Pangu To Release iOS 10 Jailbreak Tool In December? iOS 10.2 Update Already In The Works
Registered developers got the iOS 10.2 beta 3 on Monday, Nov. 14, which Apple made available as a download from its developer website or over the air. Based on past iOS 10.2 betas, jailbreak observers believe the update would be available to public testers in the Apple Beta Software Program by Tuesday, Nov. 15.
According to phonedog, there are no huge new changes in the iOS 10.2 beta 3. Apple just removed the feature which turned on SOS with the press on the power button several times. The TV app in the Settings app has a new section which allows users to do things such as select streaming quality over Wi-Fi and cellular. The iOS 10.2 beta 3 also added an “Up Next” feature in the TV app to save the user’s place in shows and recommended next episodes.
Other OS In 3rd Developer Betas Seed
Besides iOS 10.2, the third developer betas seeded by the Cupertino-based tech giant include macOS 10.12.2 tvOS 10.1 and a second beta of Xcode 8.2, Appleinsider reported. While build 14C5077b, or the iOS 10.2 update, could be installed over-the-air on devices with previous beta installed for registered developers, people who need the software for the first time must follow steps at the developer portal of Apple.
Other obvious changes in the iOS 10.2 are redrawn images of its emoji and 72 new characters that conform to Unicode 9.0 and a dedicated TV app. It features three new wallpapers for owners of iPhone 7, a “Celebration” effect in Messages and a widget for the Videos app.
For both iOS 10.2 and the tvOS 10.1, a very important addition is a single sign-on support for streaming TV to allow users to subscribe to online-only services or cable which would access channels across multiple apps. The user would not need to re-authenticate often.
iOS 10 Jailbreak in December
Pangu is reportedly ready to release an iOS 10 jailbreak in December, although the most reliable group to launch one has yet to make its working iOS 10 jailbreak public. If the iOS 10 jailbreak would be released next month, based on the rumors, it would be considered a great Christmas gift to the Apple Jailbreak Community. Individual hackers claimed to have videos of the jailbreak, but most turn out to be hoaxes.
