"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" seems to have lost its touch a bit. The series which is the winner of 2 Golden Globe, Critics Choice TV Awards and 2 Creative Arts Emmys is struggling of late to get some viewers. But fans might get the fifth installment of the series soon.
Premiere Date reported that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 3 onwards the show got poor reviews and the ratings of the action comedy had dropped by almost a third. Surprisingly, the network thought of giving the series another chance and the fourth installment was aired. Rumor has it that, the network has to face the same situation again as Season 4's ratings are also going down.
Previously, rumors were doing the rounds that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 5 will be canceled. Speculations were made that the network would cancel the show after the current season's ratings. But reports are indicating that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 will still be continuing with the remaining episodes. Apparently, the ratings of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 have been decreasing since the first episode. Episode 1 had 2.389 million viewers but by the episode 4, the viewership dropped to 2.053 million.
However, the makers are putting all their efforts to entertain its fans and also have become successful in doing so. Jobnhire reported that episode 7 is entitled as "Mr. Santiago" and will be aired on 22 November. Episode 8 will be aired on November 29 and is named as "Skyfire Circle."
Release Date even reported that the chances of a renewal of the series are very high despite a slight drop in the ratings. This is solely because of the brilliant reception "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 has got from viewers as well as critics.
Rotten tomato reported that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 scored 7.7 out of 10 and a 100% approval rating from critics. Viewers rated the fourth installment 4.5 out of 5. IMBD, on the other hand, claimed that "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 scored 8.3 out of 10. The scoring is done on the basis of 67,300 users vote.
