"The Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale" is set to be an Augmented Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (ARMMORPG) that differs from Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPGS). The upcoming movie will be set as an Augmented Reality wherein the players wear the "Augma" which can transmit visual, audio and tactual sensation data to players while they are awake. The anime film will be released on February 18, 2017.
