Just as the highly anticipated "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" film was released yesterday, the new mobile game titled "Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World" from "Fable Fortune" creators Mediatonic is also debuting. The hidden object game is the first of several video games promised by Warner Bros. back in 2013, when they first announced the film.
According to Gamespot, "Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World" is a free-to-play mobile game created by "Fable Fortune" creators Mediatonic, and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It finds gamers as a new Ministry of Magic employee who is tasked to investigate "curious cases."
Gamers who install Mediatonic's "Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World" will also be able to explore "Harry Potter" locations such as Diagon Alley, Hgsmeade, and Leaky Couldron, among others. The exciting new hidden object game finds gamers as a member of the Beast Division of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. As a member of the RCMC, players must analyze evidence and discover hidden objects, cast spells and concoct potions, and put together clues to identify and locate such magical creatures. Think of it as the modern day Newt Scamander.
Entertainment Weekly reports that players of "Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World" will also meet Mathilda Grimblehawk, who will welcome players to the Ministry of Magic and serve as your partner. Another exciting part of the hidden object game is that players can connect with Facebook to team up with their friends and solve cases together.
"Fantastic Beasts: Cases From the Wizarding World" is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is now open in theaters. Check out the video below to learn more.
