‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Domain Hint At Something Similar To ‘GTA Online’

Rockstar Games fulfilled the dreams of some of the gamer out there when they announced the coming of “Red Dead Redemption 2”, something set for the Fall of 2017. Most are excited for what the game would bring and Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick promises to pick up from the success of the first installment.

Zelnick mentioned in an interview with MKM Partners that they plan to pick up from the surprise reception of the western game setting for “Red Dead Redemption”, something he admits was initially met with apprehension. The key then was to capture the imagination of gamers and obviously their efforts paid off, Game Spot reported.

Looking forward to 2017, the stakes have been obviously raised as Take-Two and Rockstar Games work on a new angle which will include an optimistic view of America once more. Zelnick adds that “Red Dead Redemption 2” will include incredible emotional depth – something that will eventually fall on the story and gameplay elements.

Outside the storyline plans, a new online mode is reportedly included for “Red Dead Redemption 2” which will be made available for the PS4 and Xbox One next year, Attack of the Fan Boy reported. With that revelation, gamers will certainly have a lot to do once the game comes out, hopefully, similar if not better than the first installment.

The months have been busy for Rockstar Games, a sequence that was pretty much worth the wait. It started with the cryptic red logo followed by the trailers that sent “Red Dead Redemption 2” sharks to a frenzy.

Another question out in the open though is whether there will be a PC version coming. As mentioned in a previous post, Wedbush Securities Michael Pachter believes that a PC version will eventually materialize, citing the case of GTA 5 which eventually rolled out one.
