‘Fallout 5’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Bethesday Prioritizing Fifth Installment Over ‘The Elder Scrolls 6’?
“Fallout 4” just got the “Nuka-World” final DLC and now most are hoping that a fifth installment would follow as well. Bethesda is currently busy addressing the issues tied up to “Skyrim Special Edition”, a current offering that is plagued with bugs.
The attention has been on the status of “The Elder Scrolls 6”, thanks to the release of the remastered version of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition” At the moment. This has been seemingly indicating that most may have forgotten about the “Fallout” series.
Like the case of “TES 6”, a “Fallout 5” is expected and a logical explanation on why Bethesda has not announced anything is that the fifth installment could come out ahead of “The Elder Scrolls 6”. Going by the numbers, it makes a bit sense to prioritize “Fallout 5” over “TES 6”, Neurogadget reported.
Bethesda has projects lined up though the actual game titles in the mix have yet to be revealed. “The Elder Scrolls 6” is believed to be in the infancy stages of development while word of a possible “Fallout 5” came out eight months back.
Ryan Alosio, the voice behind the “Fallout” character “Deacon”, hinted of a new game installment though most believe it was more of a prank than something serious. Regardless, people took his words seriously and are waiting on a “Fallout 5” coming.
Like “The Elder Scrolls 6”, the wait for “Fallout 5” in 2020 is now also up in the air. Looking over at the grapevine many are expecting big things. That includes new characters, game modes, and locations that may include either New York or Japan.
With no official word coming from Bethesda, there are now two logical games to wait on for 2020 – “The Elder Scrolls 6” and “Fallout 5”. But until that time comes, it may be best to check out what the final “Nuka-World” DLC for Fallout 4 has to offer, much of which was tackled in a previous post.
