‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Data Miners Reveal Ditto Special Abilities, New Tracking System & Shiny Monsters

Latest reports claim that data miners have leaked interesting details hidden in the code of "Pokemon GO" Android update 0.47.1. The most important details leaked pertain to a new tracking system, Shiny and Rare Pokemon and Ditto.

The changeling monster Ditto could be found in the wild and used in battle. Data miners have found aesthetic assets like a purple background color, spotlight graphic and references to sound files in the code. The spotlight suggests that Ditto, apart from wild encounters, may also be found in some other way in "Pokemon GO."

As per reports, the new "Pokemon GO" tracking system may remove sightings in monster-packed areas. This could be replaced by a system more closely connected to PokeStops. As per iDigital Times, Pokemon icons will show up below PokeStops they are near to. Players may get a mix of old and new mechanics in future.

The data miners were puzzled by some hidden words in the code. There is a passing reference to Shiny and Rare monsters. There could be a different visual tint for Shiny or Rare monster variations.

The new "Pokemon GO" update is now available on Android and iOS devices. The update includes egg and text fixes. Data miners are certain that there are numerous secrets hidden in the text.

According to WWG, "Pokemon GO's" datamine has also found placeholder files pertaining to three new sponsors in the game. The files "thermometer," "spatula" and "knife" could indicate a possible Thanksgiving event. However, there is no information as to what the event would be like.

Thus, according to data miners, a code has been added for players to find Ditto and capture it in the wild. "Pokemon GO" players are extremely excited about this. Ditto will reportedly receive special abilities related to its Transform ability. Stay tuned on GmeNGuide for more updates on "Pokemon GO" latest update.
