‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 68 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Goku Gathers Dragon Balls To Resurrect Kaio! More Plot Details Revealed

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 67, which recently aired, proved correct previous spoilers that Zamasu would be making a comeback. Fortunately, an unexpected intervention solved the Zamasu problem once and for all, paving the way for another arc which is expected to start when "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 air date comes next week.

'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 67 Recap - The All-Powerful Zamasu

As previously reported by GamenGuide, Zamasu was far from being defeated when "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 67 aired. With future Trunks slicing Zamasu in half, everyone thought the Zamasu was done for, as he seemed to have vanished in a blaze of white light. Unfortunately, eliminating the vengeful god is never that easy. In a totally unexpected turn of events, a red light erupted, signalling the opening of another portal. Zamasu emerged but in a totally unrecognizable form. He was so immense and that he filled up the entire sky. In fact, he covered the entire planet, resembling a cloak blanketing it from space. A frightening monster indeed who would have annihilated them all in the coming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 were it not for the fortunate appearance of the one being that could defeat him.

Goku and Vegeta tried to transform into their Blue Saiyan forms but were unsuccessful this time. Apparently, they run out of power due to their energy-draining fusion earlier. But future Trunks was still able to transform completely. Together, they attacked Zamasu who now became the entire sky using the most powerful attack in their respective arsenals; Goku with his Kamekameka, Vegeta with his Gallick Gun and future Trunks with his Final Flash. But it was not enough, Zamasu was just too large and powerful to probably even feel it. "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 would have seen everyone dead were it not for the timely intervention of another divine being.

The sky, which is now actually Zamasu at this point, retaliated by raining down deadly rays on earth. Everyone perished save for the few that was with Goku, Vegeta and future Trunks. Wishing for another senzu bean,Goku reached into his pocket but found the button that the "King of All" Zen-Oh previously gave to him instead. Acting on a hunch, Goku pressed the button and the Zen-Oh of that timeline appeared. Annoyed by what Zamasu had done to the planet, Zen-Oh decided to erase everything from existence, including Zamasu and the entire planet, barely giving Goku and the remaining survivors enough time to board the time machine and return to the present time. Goku later came back to retrieve Zen-Oh, who is seen serenely floating in the void bringing him back to meet his present self to keep him company. Thus ended the Zamasu arc with the coming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 expected to start a new one.

'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 68 Spoilers

With Zamasu finally erased from existence, "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68 spoilers predict that a new arc would be introduced. The new arc is said to feature the most powerful assassin Hit, who is given the contract to kill Goku. The main mystery of the coming arc is the identity of the person who gave the kill order onl Goku as no hints have been put forth at the moment.

However, Goku is not expected to face off his deadly adversary just yet in the coming 'Dragon Ball Super" Episode 68. Titled "Come Forth, Shenlong! Whose Wish Shall be Granted?!," the upcoming episode is said to feature Goku in his search for the dragon balls to aid him in his plans of resurrecting Kaio.
