Callen and his dad had a bit of a tense reunion in the latest episode titled, "Glasnost". Callen has not been in any form of contact with his father, Garrison, ever since he bolted out of Russia. This leads Callen to start looking for any answer as to why his father would be in the United States for some time now without even a ring or a message. His father, for his part, tried to explain to him that he was only in the country to protect Katarina, as the mission is too sensitive since she was important in finally nabbing Pavel Volkoff. This is probably the emotional set up "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 9 is looking for.
While most viewers though Callen was some sort of solitary individual, "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 9 has finally shattered that image and will most likely keep up storyline revolving around this. Plus, Callen learns that he has a sister named Alex. The next episodes would be fairly interesting as it will heavily feature Callen in another light.
Another thing going on in "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 9 is that Kensi seems to be continually improving in her rehab. It is definitely starting to look like that it will only be a matter of time before her eventual return to the outside world. The return of Arkady is also being tackled here. It sure is a fun scene whenever he is around and has a great dynamic with the NCIS agents that he is working with.
According to rumors, the next episode will heavily feature Nell trying to infiltrate a prison to gain some intel regarding the department leak. "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8 Episode 9 is wrapped up but Episode 10 is sure to bring the fire when it airs on Nov. 27.
