Sony has confirmed that 2013 will be an eventful year for the company, a glimpse of which we all will get at the upcoming E3.

Sony, according to the official PlayStation blog, is set to showcase more than 40 titles across different Sony platforms such as PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, the company confirmed on its official blog today.

Moreover, apart from its PlayStation E3 2013 press conference on Monday, June 11, Sony has also planned to broadcast three days of live-stream for demos and interviews from the show floor.

The company states that these 40 confirmed PlayStation titles will appear as a combination of first-party and third-party titles. And during the company’s PlayStation LiveCast, Sony has also promised to show announced PS4 titles that include the likes of DriveClub, Destiny, Infamous: Second Sun and Killzone: Shadow Fall.

PS3 titles, on the other hand, will include Gran Turismo 6 and Beyond: Two Souls. Tearaway and Killzone Mercenary will be available for PS Vita. The live-stream service for Sony’s E3 venture will be available to watch on PlayStation.com, Ustream and Facebook, alongside on PS3 and PS Vita via the Nico Nico video app.

Sony is expected to arrive with a number of important revelations at this year’s E3. Fans mostly will be looking ahead to any kind of announcement related to the PS4. The announcements will include the likes of PS4’s pricing details and a potential release date.

The company is also expected to reveal as to how it continue to support the ever popular PS3. And following the current norm of the industry, most fans would actually be quite surprised if Sony didn’t continue supporting the console that gave (and still giving) the company a huge business with its popularity.
