iZombie' Season 3 Premiere News, Update: New Season Airs With Two Back-to-Back Episodes

The iZombie Season 3 returns to The CW with a two-hour long season premiere. The installment airs on April 4 with two back-to-back episodes.

Liv Moore and team returns on-screen in the premiere episode that airs at 8:00 p.m., according to The Wrap. A new episode or Episode 1 of the "iZombie" Season 3 airs at 9:00 p.m. The series returns to its usual time slot at 9:00 p.m. every Tuesday, right after The Flash Season 3, for the following weeks.

Meanwhile, The CW has yet to release a synopsis for the back-to-back episodes for the "iZombie" Season 3 premiere. It is safe to assume though, that the show takes off after the cliffhanger in the Season 2 Finale.

Viewers will learn more about Vivian Stoll and Fillmore Graves in the "iZombie" Season 3.So far, what has been revealed about the new character, is her interest on the zombies. As one of the undead, Vivian wants to turn Seattle into a zombie-infested city.

Part of her plan to populate the zombies in Seattle includes building a pub strictly for the undead. This pub, called The Scratching Post, caters food and drinks specific for the zombies. Customers who wish to enter must eat a ghost pepper. This is to test if they are really zombies or not.

Likewise, fans will know which side Liv Moore chooses in the "iZombie" Season 3. In the Season 2 Finale, Vivian asked her to join her team. Will Liv stray to the bad side or remain with the good guys?

Moreover, fans will see familiar faces and new characters in the "iZombie" Season 3. Ravi, Major, Liv and Detective Babineaux are back on a new case every week, while Peyton prosecutes the case the following week. The new characters include Chase Graves, Vivian's brother-in-law and Harley Jones, a civilian who has it in his bucket list to kill a zombie.
