With the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date just days, fans of the hit MTV series are definite excited on what the sixth and final season could bring. The latest buzz is that the show's EP giving hints that one of the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast member could be replacing Tyler Posey's Scott as the new alpha.

All fans already know that when "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date arrives, it will also sadly mark the beginning of the end of the well-loved series. But just because the series is ending does not mean that Tyler Posey's Scott will not be concerned about turning over the helm of the pack to someone he can trust and thinks is fully capable of leading them when he graduates.
Executive Producer Jeff Davis, revealed the Tyler Posey's Scott will have doubts about leaving Beacon Hills, reports TV Line. This hesitation and uncertainty would become apparent in the latter part of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 as Scott ponder if they would be truly safe with him gone.

As a precaution, Scott is expected to mentor Liam, played by "Teen Wolf" Season 6 cast member Dylan Sprayberry. According to Jeff Davis, Scott will become Derek while Liam will become Scott, completing the turnover.
Davis explains that there will be some sort of big brother little brother dynamics between Scott and Liam when "Teen Wolf" Season 6 release date arrives next week. Here is a thought that might be worth getting a little excited over. With the transition set to complete this season which is expected to end with Liam finally becoming the new alpha, is it too much for fans to hope for a possible "Teen Wolf" spinoff?
