'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, News & Update: Bethesda Confirms Production Game Sequel! More Gameplay Details & Game Features Revealed
Fans can now breathe a sigh of relief, as "The Elder Scrolls 6" has now been confirmed in the works, according to Bethesda's Todd Howard. But there's a caveat to this news: they aren't actively pursuing it as a big project yet, as two or three other priority projects are on the pipeline.
Still, news that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is indeed happening is good enough for most video gamers, who have been looking forward to stepping back into Tamriel since "The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim." Thankfully, despite this prolonged wait, fans can still speculate and anticipate certain features that may appear on the latest Elder Scrolls sequel.
What to expect from 'The Elder Scrolls 6'
Despite Howard's confirmation in an interview with Gamespot that "The Elder Scrolls 6" is indeed happening, there's still very little to go by in terms of what to expect from the sequel. But based on Bethesda's history of making games, fans can certainly make conjectures on which features will be appearing on "The Elder Scrolls 6."
In a report from International Business Times, a further expansion on the settlement building is definitely expected from "The Elder Scrolls 6." Bethesda's other major project, "Fallout 4," is known for its settlement building expansion, but is limited by its post-nuclear world timeline. Thankfully, "The Elder Scrolls" is not limited by this.
Another feature that may appear on "The Elder Scrolls 6" is being able to capture animals, which previously appeared in the Wasteland Workshops DLC from "Fallout 4." This would be a perfect addition to the features, because if the sequel is going to bring in a little Minecraft into the franchise, then being able to rear animals as sources of food and materials would greatly complement settlement building.
Excited for "The Elder Scrolls 6?" No confirmation date yet for the sequel, so stay tuned for more details.
