“Minecraft” may look simple, but it turned into one of the most successful software products. Its easy going attitude and the endless artistic possibilities hiding in the pixelated graphics turned it into a hit. Now the newest patch is on and what is there to expect of it.
Mobi Picker has announced the release of patch 1.11 for “Mincraft” and has made a list of the changes which have occurred in the game with its release. Llamas have come to “Minecraft”. Llamas can be used for both exploration and storage. Like the rest of the NPC animals walking around, they will spawn all over the world, where a leash put on one will tame it. Tamed llamas can be equipped with a carpet as a saddle and a storage box to keep your possessions in. While walking around with your llama, other llamas would be tempted to follow you in trying to make a caravan of up to ten llamas.
The 1.11 patch has brought in some more goodies to the game’s player base. Makers Punch Map and The Lost Civilization Map are the new adventure filled exploration maps released by Mojang in collaboration with Makers Punch and Blockception. Jobs and Hire reports that the maps can be freely downloaded together with the new map and offer tons of new items, NPC’s, adventure and most important of all, giant maps to explore. Players will be free to roam these new grounds on their own free will and discover their secrets.
Nashville Chatter reports a change in Mojang’s policy towards mobile and Windows 10 devices. The company has realized that the number of users playing “Minecraft” on mobile devices is almost equal to the one of people playing on the PC. This has made them push forward patches for mobile and Windows 10, where they will no longer receive updates after everyone else. Another good addition to mobile users is that the game’s height limit has been upgraded from 128 to 256 blocks.
