‘WWE 2k17’ Latest News & Updates: New Legends Pack DLC Add-On To Be Released Soon, Which WWE Legends Will Make The Roster?

The world of professional wrestling has had a long history when it comes to video games. There is just something extremely fun and immersive in creating your own WWE superstar. Gamers are given the opportunity to live a fantasy life where you can vicariously achieve the dream of becoming a full-fledged professional wrestler, the way you want to be. "WWE 2k17" is no exception to this allure and reports have suggested that the game is looking to expand the formidable roster even more.

According to Power Up Gaming, an accidental leak on the Xbox Live storefront revealed that a new DLC pack is on its way. The premium add-on content for "WWE 2k17" is apparently entitled "Legends Pack" and will feature WWE superstars and legends that are sure to evoke feelings of nostalgia from long time wrestling fans.

Gamers in the UK and certain parts of Europe are currently able to download the "WWE 2k17" DLC pack via the Xbox Live storefront directly to their consoles before officially being released. The add-on content file will only be a miniscule one megabyte in size, as purchasing the DLC will simply unlock items that were already downloaded in the game through previous updates.

As reported by Gamespot, the "WWE 2k17" Legends Pack DLC is currently retailing for $8.99, with season pass holders able to download the add-on content free of charge. The DLC expands the game's roster and gives players the opportunity to play fan favorite legends such as Sycho Sid, Tatanka, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, and last but certainly not least, Latino Heat himself, Eddie Guerrero.

With the Goldberg pack being lauded as a pre-order DLC bonus for "WWE 2k17," 2K is releasing a lot of DLC packs for the latest installment of the professional wrestling video game series. However, the 2017 version of WWE 2K has had a pretty successful run so far, with its generally positive reception and its status as one of the ten best-selling games in the month of October.
