‘Final Fantasy XV’ Latest News and Updates: Latest Extended Trailer Released, What to Expect from ‘Final Fantasy XV’

Fans of "Final Fantasy XV" got a preview of what to expect as Square Enix has finally released an extended trailer showing the game's strategic action combat and so much more. Fans will be thrilled as newest trailer covered the game's storyboard, the setting, some of the heroes that you can control, and even a glimpse of how the navigation and the summons work.

"Final Fantasy XV" settings takes place in the world of Eos that was torn apart by war. It follows the story of Noctis' adventires, an exiled prince who is on a quest to retake his crown and his rightful thrown. The game itselt has been in development for almost a decade, and was supposed to be a spinoff for "Final Fantasy XIII". The game has since then been massively expanded, reworked, and delayed in the hopes that the latest game will somehow rekindle the gamers' interest in the franchise, Time reports.

Square Enix has been working on "Final Fantasy XIII's" original gameplay and has created a huge and interesting open-world complete with different side quests, mini-games, optional objectives, monster hunts and more. Whether the open-world gameplay is enough to rekindle the flames of interest from gamers, the extended trailer may give its fan the optimism for a much better gameplay.

According to Windows Central, "Final Fantasy XV" also has a much-developed combat based on the user feedbacks that they got from their previous games. The combat mode is somewhere between action RPGS and tactical games, like the "Dragon Age Inquisition". You even have the option to pause between battles to issue commands to your characters, but the original semi-hack and slash is still available with its RPG customization and progression.
