With Christmas just around the corner, "Overwatch" players may soon enjoy a holiday-themed gaming event, according to latest gaming leaks. Meanwhile, Blizzard has unveiled some of its planned changes for the game character Symmetra.

Exciting things are in store for "Overwatch" players given the gameplay changes, events and other enhancements that Blizzard has planned for the game. With the success of its recent Halloween event, a similar in-game challenge may also be introduced in the coming weeks.

Game files discovered by Redditors Venxa and FunyunKnight in "Overwatch's" public test realm (PTR) teased of several holiday-themed audio clips, according to Power Up Gaming. One of the files included a Christmas song, while others are character voice lines that expressed Christmas greetings. "Overwatch" game character Genji has a line that says "Merry Christmas," while Lucio and Reinhardt mentioned something about the holidays.

Apart from the Christmas-themed audio files, some of the audio clips also teased of a potential new Arena mode. Announcer lines such as "Now Entering the Arena," "Gladiator" and "Challenger" were found hidden in "Overwatch's" PTR.

With the discovery of the audio files, many gaming fans speculated that Blizzard may be planning a potential Christmas event for avid gamers. The announcer lines that mentioned the Arena may even pertain to a new gaming mode in "Overwatch."

Meanwhile, Blizzard recently released a clip that featured "Overwatch" game director Jeff Kaplan discussing a few Symmetra enhancements that they are currently working on. Posted on the game's official website, the clip gave fans a hint of what to expect from the said game character's new skills such as several ultimate abilities.

Kaplan also teased of a new "Stay with Team" feature that will allow "Overwatch" gamers to stay in a certain group or form a new team. The game director explained, "If you all click on that button, or some of you click on that button, it will automatically form a party for you guys and you can keep playing together."
