Steam offers a huge sale before Thanksgiving. Starting Wednesday, Nov. 23, the video game site will give Black Friday deals.
Usually, whether in-store or online, shoppers are waiting for Black Friday and Cyber Monday to get the best discounts. But Steam does not want to wait for Friday or Monday to offer best deals to its gamers.
Starting Wednesday through Monday, Nov, 28, the video game platform will offer steep discounts that is called Steam Autumn Sale. According to CNET, Steam has discounted thousands of titles such as "Far Cry," "Batman," "Outlast," "Grim Dawn" and Sid Meier's "Civilization" up to 92 percent off. Aside from that, the video game platform will add other discounted titles daily.
What to expect on Steam Autumn Sale?
Every retailer will have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale. The sale runs from Tuesday through November 29, at 10 a.m. PT. In a recent report, "Doom," "Tomb Raider" and "The Witcher" are among popular Steam games that will be discounted during Steam Autum Sale. There will be 13,457 games that will discounted.
The open-world RPG "The Witcher III: Wild Hunt" will be discounted at 40 percent off, "Doom" is discounted 67 percent off and the second chapter in Lara Croft's rebooted origin story "Rise of the Tomb Raider," can be bought in half price, according to Wired.
Aside from games, the sale also covers hardware too. The Steam Link, a device streams games from your PC to your TV through an in-home network, has been discounted by 60 percent, which means you can get it for £15.99. The Steam Controller, Valve's unorthodox joypad, has been discounted 30 percent, or can be bought for to £27.99. There is also a bundle of both pieces of kit for £39.58.
