“The 100” Season 4 premiere has been officially announced to be on February 1 and fans should expect more challenging times ahead for the characters of the series. After last season’s sad finale where fan favorite Lexa, played by Alycia Debnam-Carey died, fans are anxiously waiting who else will be saying good-bye.
Teasers for “The 100” Season 4 indicate more of the many dangers and violence for the characters that have been staple in the last three seasons. But, the same obstacles will also surely test the characters to their limits. The show’s lead star, Eliza Taylor who plays Clarke said that she hoped her character will be given time to heal even as she expects her to face a lot of challenges in the new season.
Taylor said that Clarke didn’t get the chance to grieve and eventually heal last season reports Digital Spy. It was like she went straight to saving the world right after Lexa passed away. The actress hopes that Clarke will be allowed to grieve and eventually heal in “The 100” Season 4. Taylor admitted that she does not know if that is happening though.
Meanwhile, rumors have it that Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will be getting pregnant in “The 100” Season 4 even as she was last seen still grieving and angry with the death of her beloved Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). There is no confirmation yet if this is true or if anyone is in fact getting pregnant in the new season. For now, all the fans can do is wait for more news regarding the series.
A previous Gamenguide report says that Zack McGowan who portrays Roan will be made series regular in “The 100” Season 4. Also, the character of Luna (Nadia Hilker) will also be returning. She is said to be coming back stronger than Lexa and will be definitely be showing it off in the new season as she helps the people survive the second Apocalypse.
Finally, reports say that Clarke will be getting a new chance at love with someone who “The 100” Season 4 spoilers say she already knows. But, there might be a possibility that the series will introduce a new character to play Clarke’s new love interest.
