Nintendo Mini NES News & Update: Walmart Is Having Troubles Delivering NES Classic Edition

Recent Nintendo Mini NES news and update suggest Walmart is having troubles delivering the replica version of classic NES. Nintendo console is also available and on sale in Australia.

In a previous report, Walmart said it intends to put more Mini NES on its shelves and even online. Due to high demand, the retailers has made the console available online every day at 5PM EST this week. The shoppers have been advised to check the website and wait for console to become available as it can be purchased right away.

Although Walmart is making efforts to deliver the Mini NES, there BGR readers sent emails reporting that the retailers is struggling to fulfill occasional orders. One reader shared an email received from Walmart. (Read here).

"Due to the extreme volume of customers placing orders for this product at the same time, we unfortunately received more orders than we can currently fulfill with our existing inventory," Walmart wrote.

In a related news, Nintendo Classic Mini NES has become on sale as well in Australia. Although the console has become sold out the EB Games sales, shoppers have got a chance to get the console on Black Friday, Nov. 25.

As mentioned earlier, the demand of this classic-themed console is high, there is a chance it will be sold out quickly. On Saturday, Nov. 26, Nintendo Classic Mini NES will be available again starting at 4:00 p.m.

This is a Catch Club exclusive deal. To purchase one, you need to sign up for a Catch Club membership before the sale starts. Catch of the Day has been accepting pre-orders on the Mini NES as part of its Black Friday, according to Life Hacker. The price that the retailer is offering $99.
