‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers, Latest News & Update: Adam Newman To Have A Comeback?

The "The Young and the Restless" fans are extremely disappointed as Adam Newman is presumed dead. Just when fans have accepted the fact that Adam might not return for a few years, Sharon Case (Sharon McAvoy) has revealed that he may resurface soon. In a question-answer session on Facebook, the actor lets it slip out that the makers are planning a surprise return for Adam.

As soon as Sharon Case revealed that Adam Newman will be back in the show, social media sites were abuzz with speculations and fans want to know more about Adams return. However, makers have not yet made any official announcement about Adam's return to the Genoa City.

Justin Hartley plays the character of Adam Newman on screen and he is the central character of the show. The show will not be the same without him and there will be too many loose ends if he disappears permanently from the show. Christian's true paternity and Chloe's real nature are the two story lines which will remain unresolved without him. Fans are excited to resolve these questions for a satisfying conclusion.

Adam has been believed to be dead in the burning cabin and there is no DNA evidence which is another challenge in bringing him back to the show. However, with a revelation about Sully and Dylan and Sharon's subsequent divorce is the best chance to bring Adam Newman back.

Justin Hartley left "The Young and the Restless" for "This is Us" which is a prime-time show, as stated in several reports. Hartley also made it clear that he has no plan to return to daytime television. On top of that, the new head writer Sally Sussman also confirmed that Hartley has left the daytime show permanently and there is no plan to bring him back. So, even if Adam will be back, it is for sure that Hartley will not reprise Adam's character.
