Hello Games Announcement: 'No Man's Sky' Foundation Update Coming This Week; Read Details Here
After months of being silent, Hello Games is ready to reveal what they have been working on since their last "public" engagement. In a recent post on the "No Man's Sky" official website, the developer revealed the Foundation Update that will arrive soon, followed by an insight on why the update is called just that.
In a brief announcement made on the website, it said "We're calling it The Foundation Update, because we have added the foundations of base building, and also because this is putting in place a foundation for things to come."
Unfortunately, Hello Games did not confirm the date on when they will release the Foundation Update for "No Man's Sky." Meanwhile, they also mentioned the previous updates the eventually led to this one. After the game was released, the developer immediately worked on developing a patch that will support the game. Across platforms, there's a total of 7 patches made.
The announcement also said that, "No Man's Sky" Foundation Update is not a massive one, but is definitely a new beginning for the whole team and the game. Apparently, the team took in the endless comments about the unfortunate state of the "No Man's Sky" game. According to them, they may have been silent these past months, but they were listening and making sure that they address all the significant comments that can help improve the game.
In late October, the official "No Man's Sky" twitter page confirmed that, the hacking on their account has been resolved and they are 100 percent working now. But apart from that, the twitter account remained silent on what fans really wanted to hear; a "No Man's Sky" update that will round things up.
