A cute Corgi puppy comes as a gift for "World of Warcraft" players. The pet becomes part of the Blizzard game as incentive of the video game developer for the 12th year anniversary of the hit RPG.

This in-game offering can be availed by players who will log in to the official website until November 30. Dubbed the "Anniversary Gift Package," the Corgi puppy which is part of the Anniversary Gift Package will be sent and received by the players through mail, along with the 12th year anniversary achievement for "World of Warcraft."

Badges and experience booster

Aside from the Corgi puppy, the package for this year's anniversary also comes with 200 Timewarped Badges and an experience booster. There is also a quest item dubbed "Letter from the Timewalkers" which will allow players to begin the quest which is based in Orgrimmar or Stormwind.

There will also be daily quests from Historian Ju'pe and Historian Llore where players can get more Timewarped badges whenever they answer trivia questions correctly. These are just some of Blizzard's ways to extend its thanks to "World of Warcraft" players.

Blizzard thanks players

"Thank you to all of the heroes of the Horde and the Alliance for your unfaltering dedication to Azeroth," said Blizzard in a statement. "Whether you are a clever night elf, a nimble gnome, a mystical troll, or a stalwart human, we appreciate your continued support, and we're looking forward to sharing many more adventures with you for years to come."

Other features

The game developer also noted that there will be a new dungeon in the game called the Cathedral of Eternal Night where players will be asked to climb the cathedral's spire. There will also be Artifacts improvements and added PvP brawls.

Gaming fans can still grab "World of Warcraft" which has been exclusively released for PCs. What other updates do you expect for the game?
