The latest episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 saw a lot of drama and relationship conflicts. With Alba disapproving of Rafael's new love interest, and a new character spicing things up, things will get a little messy in the next episode of "Jane the Virgin."
Chapter Fifty Recap
Last week, Jane's cousin, Catalina, unexpectedly visits her. The well-travelled and ridiculously wild cousin also happens to be a very attractive one, making everyone around her susceptible to her charm. She is shown to be Jane's first ever cousin in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, so the dynamics between her and everyone around would surely be affected.
However, it looks like Catalina will be staying for a while in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, as she seems to be Rafael's newfound love interest. However, it was poignantly hinted at the tail end of the episode that Alba dislikes the new character. She has then warned Jane of introducing Catalina to Rafael, who was already falling hard for her.
While Jane feels belittled by the experiences her cousins shares all of the time, Rafael's feelings should be the one fans should watch out for in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. With the erratic emotions of all the characters in the show, only time will tell if something good or bad will happen between the two.
Also, the episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 last week saw Petra's return into Jane's world. The chaotic whirlwind of drama brought by Petra would once again ensue a lot of tension among the other characters. Now that Michael has recovered from the shooting incident already, it would be interesting to see how he copes with Petra's comeback.
New Character, New Drama
Elisabeth Rohm, best known for her role in "The Law & Order," is reported to join the cast of "Jane the Virgin" as well. She is said to have a major recurring role in " Jane the Virgin" Season 3, playing a soft-spoken guru named Eileen. She will be the new love interest of Luisa. "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 Episode 7 will air on Monday, November 28.
