'Final Fantasy XV' Latest News & Update: Two-Hour Game Experience & Five Videos With Soundtrack Revealed Online; What Should Players Expect?

Square Enix has showcased "Final Fantasy XV" at PAX in Seattle last week. Jason Schreier, a news editor for Kotaku who played the game at PAX, shared his two-hour game experience online. Its game developer has also revealed five "Final Fantasy XV" videos with the soundtrack.

"Final Fantasy XV" Update: Jason Schreier Revealed His Game Experience

Jason Schreier has shared his two-hour game experience at PAX in Seattle last week. According to Kotaku, Schreier has experienced every part of the game and shared its improvement online. He added that Square Enix members have listened carefully to feedback and applied it in the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV."

"Final Fantasy XV" opens up with the prophecy that the King of Light shall come and four brave warriors are prepared for battle when darkness covers the world. The old version of Noctis then appears to be fighting a gigantic boss in a room filled with flames

Noctis crew members are also introduced. It includes Gladiolus, the strong one, Ignis, the smart cook who takes care of everybody, and Prompto, the hyperactive millennial. They are also seen departing their home to find Noctis' bride-to-be, Luna. Some introductory scenes also appeared. Noctis and his crew then bring their car to a mechanic at Hammerhead. While at the region, they embark on monster-hunting quests with the main task of introducing the "Final Fantasy XV" combat system.

The two-hour game experience also revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" players can block, deflect and charge up a buddy meter. This allows players to call other members for combo attacks. However, the best part of "Final Fantasy XV" combat is Noctis' war strike. With this, players can throw Noctis' sword at key points or at enemies then teleport wherever the sword lands.

"Final Fantasy XV" Update: New Combat Abilities Unlocked; Soundtrack

"Final Fantasy XV" players can also unlock several new combat abilities including Airstep and Ascension. Airstep allows players to move around in mid-air after an attack. Ascension allows choosing a skill from a branching screen.

According to Gamereactor, five videos on "Final Fantasy XV" have already been released. These videos feature the "Final Fantasy XV" soundtrack including "Apocalypsis," "Cindy," "Noctis," "Safe Haven," "Song of the Stars" and "Wanderlust."
