"Black Friday" marked the the release of three new colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. However, as new pairs are being produced by adidas, Chinese retailers have also made replicas of the shoe line.
With photos of the red, green and copper colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 surfacing online, sneaker replicas of the shoes have also hit shops of Chinese retailers. Some were even reportedly made available just hours after the new colorways came out.
Warning about fake pairs
Buyers are warned of these fake pairs being sold in the market. Though they are far from the original shoe line in terms of appearance and feel, many could still be tricked to buying them since they come cheap at $200.
Many believe that sellers of these replicas will earn a lot of money from Yeezy pairs because it is slowly becoming a really famous shoe line. Kanye West's collaboration with adidas was initially launched last year then became an instant success.
Some fans even got hurt while lining up to grab a pair of the Yeezy Boost because there were already customers who lost patience while waiting for their turn to buy. This is a sign that the collaboration of Kanye and adidas will go a long way.
Previous colorways
It can be remembered that when the first colorway ("Beluga") of the Yeezy Boost was released, it became sold out just a few weeks after it hit the shelves. Other colorways followed including a black and white iteration which fans loved and made them look forward to another release.
