The three Pearson children will take a trip in the hope of finding answers to the issues they are currently facing in this week’s new episode of “This Is Us”,. This is after the family’s disastrous Thanksgiving dinner where the beginnings of their long standing holiday tradition were revealed to the viewers.
In the upcoming “This Is Us” episode titled “The Trip”, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) will escape to the family cabin to find comfort in their family cabin and along with it, the memories of their childhood. It will just be the three of them to provide support for the personal problems that plague each of them reports Spoiler TV.
Randall, will unexpectedly see his adoptive father Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) in a vision that will provide him with the comfort and proper perspective to move past his anger he currently feels for his adoptive mother, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) report “This Is Us” spoilers. It remains to be seen if what he found in the cabin may be enough to forgive Rebecca for not telling him sooner about his birth father William (Ron Cephas Jones).
According to series creator Dan Fogelman in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Randall feels betrayed by his mother since the previous episode of “This Is Us”, because he always shared a special connection with her. Fogelman further revealed that it might take some time for him to recover. The next episode of “This Is Us” will see a confrontation between Randall and William but the anger Randall feels for William is nothing compared to the depth of his anger with Rebecca.
Meanwhile, a wedge could possibly be driven between the Pearson twins because of a harsh truth that Kate will learn from Kevin’s colleague, Olivia (Janet Montgomery). In a flashback scene, Randall’s nine-year-old self (Lonnie Chavis) will worry Rebecca and Jack when he shows interest in searching for his birth parents for the first time. Episode 9 of “This Is Us” will air on November 29, Tuesday, on NBC.
