'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Air Date, News & Updates: Series Delayed Due To Censorship, Moved To March 2017? Interdimensional Cable Confirmed?

The highly anticipated animated show "Rick And Morty" Season 3 might not make it to its rumored December release as the series faces censorship issues. Check out the details below.

Recently, rumors are rife that the premiere of "Rick And Morty" Season 3 will be delayed once again due its censorship issues. Apparently, the show is not suitable for young viewers. In fact, creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon were required to make minor changes as required by the Broadcast Standards and Practices.

Some of the minor changes required for "Rick And Morty" Season 3 includes changing the color of the brain from pink to green to lessen the realism it depicts. In addition, the series also faced allegations of promoting violence. However, Roiland clarified that it's not actually about violence but "sex stuff."

Roiland also shared that there was one episode of "Rick And Morty" Season 3 which they find really challenging to make. Apparently, the said episode features a sex robot which Rick purchased for Morty. However, Roiland pointed out his views about the said episode, saying, "I think that's just our country. It's just the way things are. It's stupid."

With this, many speculate that "Rick And Morty" Season 3 will not make it to its supposed December 2016 release. Rumors claim that it will be pushed back to March 2017 instead. There were even reports that other than the alleged censorship issues, the series is not completely finished yet. This is despite earlier reports that the script has been completed and already sent to Bardel Entertainment in Vancouver.

A Reddit user named PopDavid, who claims to be a design assistant on "Rick And Morty" Season 3, shares that the scripts for all episodes have not been accomplished yet. He also added that only nine out fourteen episodes were finished. However, there has been no confirmation about these claims yet.
