'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Spoilers, Latest News and Update: Alaric's Twins in Danger; Cade lands on Mystic Falls

Damon continues to make the wrong moves. It seems that there's no more stopping him as the latest spoilers for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 reveal that he will get Alaric and Caroline's twins involved in his stints with Sybil.

A promo for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 6 hints on danger for the twins that Alaric (Matthew Davis) and Caroline (Candice King) share. In the trailer, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Sybil (Nathalie Kelly) show up and take the two kids. While the unknowing kids appear to be at ease as they spend time with Damon, this might not be good news for their parents.

In one particular scene, Caroline tells Stefan (Paul Wesley) that if Damon harms her kids, she will kill him. Stefan is caught in the middle. In the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8, he will have to choose between protecting the twins of the woman he is about to marry and saving his brother from getting killed by Caroline. Aside from Caroline, there's still Alaric, who may also be somewhere else looking for the abducted twins.

Viewers will also see Alaric and Caroline getting into a heated conversation in the new episode of "The Vampire Diaries." They will start realizing how hard it is to co-parent their kids. Caroline will be marrying Stefan soon and Alaric may still have feelings of love for his deceased wife. Their current set-up may not be working well.

Elsewhere, another villain is about to set foot on Mystic Falls. TV Line reveals that Cade (Wolé Parks) will finally make his debut on "The Vampire" Diaries" season 8. Arcadius, a.k.a Cade, will make his appearance through the help of the twins. This could be the reason why Damon and Sybil took the young girls, though more of this part of the story is expected to be detailed in the upcoming episode.

Things will heat up further for Stefan as the synopsis teases that he will be forced to make a decision that will change his life in "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 episode 6.
