There have been reports that the HTC 11 will be the last smartphone from the house of HTC and that the company will be selling off its smartphone division. A drop in sales of its smartphones led to the spread of these rumors and HTC has strongly condemned such reports, claiming them to be "categorically false."

The HTC 11 could be releasing in 2017 and is expected to sport some jaw-dropping specs such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB RAM and 2K Curved OLED Display. Information about its specs is scarce and details about the phone are to be released as it nears its release date.

On Nov. 11, HTC released its HTC 10 Evo/HTC Bolt handset, putting a stop to all "selling-off" rumors and proving that it is very much into manufacturing smartphones. The HTC 10 Evo is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM. He handset, just like the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, has dropped the 3.5mm headphone jack. HTC is also the mobile manufacturing partner for Google. It also manufactured the Google Pixel and Pixel XL handsets. It's true that the company has entered other markets such as healthcare and gaming, but it is not closing down its smartphone division. Meanwhile, the HTC 11 is expected to have a 5.5-inch Quad HD Display.

The HTC 11 primary camera could be of 12MP and front camera of 8MP. The handset is expected to have a better sensor along with some top upgrades., reports PhoneArena. As far as the battery is concerned, the HTC 11 could sport a very powerful 4,000 mAh battery.
