The upcoming episode of the ABC fantasy series "Once Upon a Time" will feature a glimpse at a different Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison). Latest spoiler news teased of the said character's new life as an ordinary princess.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 episode 10 titled "Wish You Were Here" is set to unveil what Emma's life would have been if she were not a savior. With a fleeting wish to live a normal life, Emma's wishful thinking will become her new reality given the Evil Queen's (Lana Parrilla) latest plan.
Upon learning of how Emma and her friends have secured a weapon that could defeat the Evil Queen, the villain will steal Aladdin's (Deniz Akdeniz) lamp to make Emma's wish come true, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoiler Guide. Given the Evil Queen's possession of the magical lamp, the Agrabah street rat-turned-genie will have no choice but to grant the villain's wishes.
The trailer clip for the upcoming "Once Upon A Time" Season 7 episode also showed Emma in a different version of the Enchanted Forest. Given her wish to live life without the burden of being a savior, it appears that Emma's new life involves happy trips inside the forest to pick flowers.
With Emma trapped in her new reality at the Enchanted Forest, Regina (Parilla) will embark on a rescue mission to save Storybrooke's heroine. However, it is still unclear if Emma's wish also wiped away her memories of her old life as savior.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 7 episode 10 will also feature a fight between Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and the Evil Queen. Snow's (Ginnifer Goodwin) husband will also partner with Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), as well as Henry (Jared S. Gilmore), to try and stop the Evil Queen during Regina and Emma's absence.
Meanwhile, showrunners of the ABC series Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Emma's wish will come with a price. The two producers stated, "The price upends the world of all of our fairy tale heroes and villains as they are thrown into an adventure involving new worlds, old loves, and an impending destiny that can no longer be ignored."
